YOUR ROLE

  • Liaising with management and interrelated departments with respect to warehousing operations
  • Transpose Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), Single Point Lessons (SPL) & Safety information
  • Submitting various requests, for example Maintenance & I.T., using the applicable Henkel internal systems
  • Participates in housekeeping, cycle counting, stock takes and stock checks
  • Participates in risk assessment activities, hazard identification, safety audits and Root Cause Analysis
  • Storing, picking, checking, packing & shipping of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures and regulations using warehouse tools and equipment and licensed and non-licensed material handling equipment

YOUR SKILLS

  • Certificate 3 in warehousing and logistics would be ideal
  • Highly developed level of interpersonal, numeracy & communication skills
  • Possesses intermediate to high computer skills, including input data entry and retrieval
  • A knowledge of SAP ERP and proficient use of Excel would be a plus
  • Perform work requiring minimal supervision either individually or in a team environment
  • Knowledge of overseas booking processes and chain of responsibility requirements
  • Understands the need for high quality control standards while undertaking duties in a safe and responsible manner
