About the role:
We are seeking a full-time, hands on Hatchery Technician to join our dedicated Prawn Operations team in QLD.
This position works collaboratively as a team to ensure optimum animal health and quality of our product. This will be achieved through your ambition, passion, positive and proactive manner with a drive to learn; whilst working in accordance with Tassal’s operating procedures and Safety vision enabling our company’s overall success and innovative growth ambitions – to build a better tomorrow
As we operate with a #OneTeam approach, this full-time position will gain development and exposure to contribute across additional operations in Hatchery off season.
We are looking for somebody who prides themselves as being adaptable, and willing to develop and move and grow with the business.
To suit our fast-paced environment, you’ll be agile, hardworking and enjoy diverse working environments such as warm indoor/outdoor and cold working environments.
To be successful in this role you will start in Mission Beach excitedly learning the ropes of our Mission Beach Hatchery operations this season, and willing to then work in Whitsundays joining our largest Prawn Operation– Proserpine, expanding your experience and gaining diverse development for your career with Tassal. You’ll have good observational skills, amazing attention to detail and not shy of physical work.
Applicants must have the ability to work with a roster that covers day, afternoon shift and weekend work, with reliable vehicle to get to site.
